So I found a lil bit of home the other day...Skippy Peanut butter!! I bought 3 jars and I've already finished all of them hahaha

Elder Santos is great. We're working hard and having a good time. Some of his best quotes (translated obviously haha): "I feel more lost than Adam in Mother's Day" and "There cannot possibly be a better cookie than Chips Ahoy!"

Theres a dog that always follows me and Elder Santos around. Hes a homie, we named him Hermano Perrito.

I heard a talk this last Sunday that I really liked. The Hermano was talking about a match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. He related this match to us because at times we get beaten up and we don't understand why God isn't cutting us a break, why He won't throw in the towel. And it's because He loves us. He knows what we are capable of; He wants us to achieve our potential. So if life is hard right now, just remember that God won't give you anything more than you can handle with His help. Hang in there, trust in God. Don't give up. "Keep trying. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Keep growing. Heaven is cheering you on today, tomorrow, and forever." -Elder Holland

Thank you for all of your letters! I only have an hour every Monday to write home so sorry if I don't immediately reply. Love and miss you guys

Transfers again!

So transfers/cambios came. At first I was told Elder Taco and I were going to open up a new area in my old zone, Viru Viru, but last second it got changed and now I'm back in Santa Cruz in an area called Bajio.

As always, it really sucked to say goodbye. It feels like Ieave a part of me behind every time I change areas. Really going to miss Estadium.

Bajio is great, the ward is super friendly and my new comp. Elder Santos is cool. Also living with Elder Merkley, he's from Moses Lake Washington!!

No time left but love and miss you guys:)

Birthday's, General Conference, and washing motorcycles

April 10,2017

New foods:pato-chicken feet, and chicharron- pig tail hahaha
Kids love them here haha

"Winter" is coming, its getting colder and raining a lot more.

I taught everyone Bear, salmon, mosquito at our activity Thursday. They loved it! Thank you Natural Helpers!

We washed motos for free as a zone, fun little activity to find new investigators!

Aldo came to visit me again, gave me two beautiful ties for my birthday!

Here's part of my favorite talk from this last conference by Elder Holland: https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2017/04/songs-sung-and-unsung?lang=eng

“Jesus listening can hear the songs [you] cannot sing.”2

Brothers and sisters, we live in a mortal world with many songs we cannot or do not yet sing. But I plead with each one of us to stay permanently and faithfully in the choir, where we will be able to savor forever that most precious anthem of all—“the song of redeeming love.”11 Fortunately, the seats for this particular number are limitless. There is room for those who speak different languages, celebrate diverse cultures, and live in a host of locations. There is room for the single, for the married, for large families, and for the childless. There is room for those who once had questions regarding their faith and room for those who still do. There is room for those with differing sexual attractions. In short, there is a place for everyone who loves God and honors His commandments as the inviolable measuring rod for personal behavior, for if love of God is the melody of our shared song, surely our common quest to obey Him is the indispensable harmony in it. With divine imperatives of love and faith, repentance and compassion, honesty and forgiveness, there is room in this choir for all who wish to be there.12“Come as you are,” a loving Father says to each of us, but He adds, “Don’t plan to stay as you are.” We smile and remember that God is determined to make of us more than we thought we could be.

Love and miss you all like crazy

April 3
Well Bolivia beat Argentina, 2-0!!! Man I wish I knew more about soccer hahaha. Man I miss March Madness

Tried plateno relleno (fried banana stuffed with cheese) and masaco (fried banana and corn muish) this last week. Actually not bad hahaha!

Had a multi zone conference, it was great to see everybody. I got to catch up with Elder Silva! Claudia, another one of our investigators is getting baptized!!!

I hope that some of you had the chance to watch General Conference. It was amazing, one of my favorite talks was by Elder Holland. If you didn't have the chance, you can still watch at lds.org along with many other videos!

Love you guys so much.

March 27
Wow what a week.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes! I had a great day, my zone bought me a cake! (and they tried shoving my face into it hahahah). Can't believe I'm 20, crazy.

Aldo came to visit me at church yesterday!! It was such a surprise but so good to see him. Also he told me that Gustavo, one of my investigators in my old area, just got baptized!! So blessed.

Gave my first talk in Spanish. Didnt even realize i was speaking until Bishop called me to the stand hahaha. I gave my talk on preparing for General Conference this weekend. For those of you that don't know, General Conference is a world wide broadcast meeting of the leaders of the church. I would like to invite everyone to to watch, even if only for a few minutes. You can find it online at lds.org this Saturday and Sunday. The messages are wonderful, and there is something for EVERYONE. If you need some spiritual guidance or even just an uplifting thought or encouragement, please please please watch General Conference. These speakers are truly inspired by God in the words that they share. Love and miss you all!
